We Are Explorers CIC

We Are Explorers creates safe and friendly spaces for all LGBTQ+ people.

Our groups are extra accessible for Neurodivergent people. We are run by staff who are both LGBTQ+ and Neurodivergent. We call our community Neuroqueer. This reminds us that we are never alone.

Look at our website to find our groups, download our guides, see our training, and find out how to join in.

The adventure starts here!

Get to know us

We Are Explorers started in 2021. We wanted to help LGBTQ+ young people who felt lonely during the Covid lockdowns.

Some people were turned away from other groups because of their access needs. Other people were turned away because they weren't sure yet if they were LGBTQ+.

Today, we help LGBTQ+ people of all ages. Everyone is welcome, whether you are Neurodivergent or not.

We are Neuroqueer-led, and our groups are easy and safe for Neurodivergent people to access.

We want everyone to understand the challenges our Neuroqueer community faces, so no one gets left behind.
